While student-centered, technology fused learning can be successful in reducing the racial achievement and opportunity gap, this can only be possible when the factors that create these disparities are directly addressed. This session will examine the personal biases as well as organizational inadequacies which may create barriers to responding effectively to the racial and ethnic diversity of students. Participants will be given tools to examine their own biases and begin to apply a racial equity lens to aid in evaluating programs, policies and practices.
